I could go on at great length about the quality of work and the people at Devco Mechanical. But I feel that in all my experience with them, their communication and customer service set them miles apart from their competition.

Having relocated to the East Coast, taking care of my home in The Dalles is not easy. Yet whenever I need a plumber, Devco is my first call. The staff and plumbers at Devco have always gone out of their way to connect with me about diagnosing my plumbing problem and quickly executing a solution, all by phone and email. The communication from Devco has set the standard by which I compare other contractors. Even if they cannot schedule my project on the day I call, they demonstrate a commitment to quick follow up, often calling to say “We haven’t forgotten you. You’re on our list.” Knowing that I haven’t been forgotten speaks volumes and demonstrates to me that they value my business.

Coupled with Devco’s thorough and consistent communication, their customer service is second to none in The Dalles. From project start to finish, the staff and crew have completed many projects at my home without needing constant supervision. Even though I often cannot be present when they are in my home, they have earned my trust through their proven ability to deliver quality work. I never feel like I need to look over  someone’s shoulder to make sure corners haven’t been cut. In addition, when diagnosing my plumbing issues, Devco’s crew has never driven a hard sale or pressured me to choose a specific product or service. Rather, their experienced plumbers explain my options and make recommendations from which I can choose. This clear, upfront approaching to business is refreshing.

There are many other companies in The Dalles promising great service and value. Yet where others talk and fall short, Devco delivers. Their experienced plumbers and quality customer service make them the first – and only – plumbing company I call.
